Elvira was bred by us. She is Marianne's favorite. She is very "soft" and cooperative and will do anything to please her handler. She performed very well as a test and trial dog and was a pleasure to work with in the hunting season. Her last test was the international working test in Hungary 2011, where she did really well. At the age of eight she had her second and last litter. Marianne kept one of her puppies from the last litter.
As a test and trial dog she has now retired. She is living with a very good friend of ours, and she is really enjoying life.
After some enjoyable senior years in Copenhagen Elvira was put to sleep at the age of 12. Her life was no longer worthy. She will be missed.

Winner of Europa Cup 2008
In 2008 Elvira and Marianne won the Europa Cup to be held for one year.
This cup is awarded to the Danish-owned retriever who achieved most points at cold game tests and trials in the season. Moreover, the dog must have passed the qualifying test or achieved GOOD at an official show. Furthermore, the hip score of the dog must be officially known, and the dog must be clear of cateract and PRA. So a competent, beautiful and healthy dog.
In 2009 Elvira became Swedish field trial champion
